About True North VBS

At True North, kids discover that they can trust Jesus in a wild world! True North is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch! Hands-on science experiments, team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and sturdy shoes.) Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings®. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot!

Surrounded by the beauty of nature - from towering pine trees to majestic mountains, from playful otters to soaring eagles - children will discover that Jesus is our True North, guiding us through every adventure life brings. Kids will learn how to navigate life with Jesus as their compass, always pointing them in the right direction.

Register Your Child

Send your little explorer on an outdoor adventure full of faith, friendship, and fun at True North VBS!

  • Daily Bible stories and adventures
  • Outdoor games and water activities
  • Creative crafts and hands-on projects

Registration is $15 per child with a maximum of $45 per family. Please contact the Parish Office if financial assistance is needed.

★ ️Children ages 4 years old through incoming 6th grade are welcome (children must be 4 years old by June 8, 2026 to register)

Volunteer With Us

Teen and adult volunteers are needed to help make this year's VBS a success! Adult volunteers MUST be Safe-Environment certified. If you're unsure if your training is up to date, please contact the Parish Office to find out.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Elementary Crew Leader: Lead a small group of kids from station to station.
  • Awesome Bible Adventures: Explore each day's Bible story and help bring the story to life.
  • Tundra Treats: Help prepare and present treats to all the kids that help illustrate what they're learning.
  • Glacier Games: Take part in outdoor games and water activities to get the kids moving! You can expect lots of hard work, fun, and high-fives.
  • Sticky Scripture Cinema: Introduce the daily Bible Memory Buddy.
  • Mountain Music: Lead singing and dancing to age-specific songs.
  • Compass Crafts: Encourage creativity and bring the Bible to life through hands-on crafts.
  • Registration: Assist with registration, check in, and collecting registration fees.
  • Photography: Take photos to document the key events from each day.
